My Story
The Entrepreneurial Bug

From concrete jungle...
My name is Jennifer DePetris. I was born and raised in New York, New York and now reside in beautiful southern California.

...to Desert tranquility.
I graduated college with a BBA and an MBA in accounting. You’d think I’d be satisfied with two degrees and a full time job in the accounting industry. Nope. I was always looking to make more money. During the Christmas seasons I worked a part-time retail job not only for extra money but for discounts on Christmas gifts. It was a “two-fer” as Bill Bartmann says. In 1994, I called a phone number from a flyer about a business opportunity and found myself at a hotel meeting. I was wowed by the very complicated compensation plan that, to this day, I never understood. For sure, I was going to be rich! I was also wowed by the knowledge the presenter had of cheloidal minerals and how no other health products on the market contained these essential ingredients. The entrepreneurial bug bit me hard! My failure with that company bit me even harder. I wouldn’t touch network marketing for a decade.
A Decade of Recovery

For dramatic effect...
It took me 10 years to get over that experience. My brother-in-law, whose judgment I trust and respect, approached me with an opportunity in 2004. It seemed like a pretty good deal. But I was still gun shy. I had terrible flashbacks whenever I thought about showing the business opportunity. I remembered the rejection and the comments about how I was involved in a scam. “Multi-level marketing doesn’t work.” My brother-in-law invested a lot of time, money and reputation into that company. He is no longer a distributor. And neither am I. But I did meet people that were having tremendous success. I knew that multi-level marketing worked, I just didn’t know how.
The next opportunity seemed to have addressed some of the pitfalls of the other companies. But after 18 months working the business, I can’t even say I achieved moderate financial success. I can say I achieved a tremendous amount of success in the area of education. I learned more about the mindset of an entrepreneur than I ever had before, not to mention the importance of researching a company BEFORE handing over my hard-earned money. And I met so many wonderful people, some of whom I have the pleasure of working with in what we believe is the best opportunity EVER. Our collective experience in this industry was essential to us being able to decipher a mediocre opportunity from a great opportunity.
Pursuing my dream of having a successful home based business and being a stay at home mom has replaced my accounting career. I believe you need to be willing to risk it all to have it all. I am absolutely hooked on the concept of LEVERAGE. It is my drug of choice. I have no doubt that network marketing provides the quickest road to leverage than any other opportunity. In this industry:
SHARED EFFORT = SHARED SUCCESS
The combination of the right company, the right product, the right timing, the right technology and the right team IS the recipe for network marketing success. It is my mission and my pleasure to share all that I have learned and continue to learn with anyone and everyone who wants more tomorrow than what they have today.
To Your Success,
Jennifer DePetris, MBA
