MLM Training
You Gotta Start Somewhere…
I cannot emphasize enough how important education and training are.
You must always be working on YOU. That’s not an insult. We all need to work on ourselves. Being an entrepreneur is more about mindset than technical skill. And, let’s face it, if you are reading this you either ARE an entrepreneur or you want to be one. I work on personal development every day. Every successful person I know, and don’t know, incorporates personal development into their routine.
Here’s what I did when I started using internet marketing:
- Partnered up with the “right” team. My idea of the “right” team is people you have a connection with, people you like and respect, people that can show you results.
- Signed up for the same lead generation system my trusted team used…MLMLeadSystemPro.
- Read Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring. It took me a couple of hours and cost $47. It was the first book I read on the concept of attraction marketing. I purchased it through the link in MLMLeadSystemPro so my direct team member would get credit for it. I opted into Mike’s mailing list and received a free video series. CAUTION: I personally found Mike’s websites to be frustrating to navigate. I had to look past all the “extra” stuff and find my way to what I wanted.
- With the help of my team, I set up MLSP and went through the training programs my TEAM suggested. It would take months to go through all the trainings that MLSP provides. You don’t need to go through all of the trainings. These are the trainings I’ve done, in order of completion:
- ListBuilders:
- Social Marketing 101
- Facebook Training
- Twitter Training
- Article Marketing Training
I have also found great training resources on the internet through some of the twitter and facebook connections I’ve made:
- Additional Facebook tips from Un-Marketing website.
- Additional Twitter tips from Un-Marketing website.
My final comment…for now…REACH OUT TO YOUR TEAM! Ask for help. I don’t know any MLM team that succeeded on the efforts of one person alone. My motto is SHARED EFFORT = SHARED SUCCESS. That’s one of the reasons I got involved in this industry. I can only guarantee one thing: If you don’t have a strong team, you will not be successful in your MLM business.
To Your Success,
Jennifer DePetris, MBA
